Your mission
As a financial manager, your role will be in business development, improving profitability and supporting growth. As a member of Cembrit Production Oy's management team, you act as a financial expert and import data to support decision-making. You will also act as a supervisor for the finance team for three people. Your supervisor is the company's CEO.
You are responsible for external accounting, bookkeeping and financial statements, as well as all (monthly) summaries and reporting for the period phase. A very competent team will help you in this, but you will be able to make entries yourself if necessary. Cembrit's fiscal year is the calendar year.
Most of your own time is allocated to internal accounting tasks. Budgeting and making various estimates both in-house and in the direction of the Group plays a significant role in your task. The budgeting of variable expenses and salaries is directly the task of the financial manager. You are also responsible for transfer pricing and related cost accounting, as well as tax matters. The financial manager also participates in the preparation of repayment calculations for larger investments. The finance function also includes payroll and official reporting, as well as accounts payable.
Our office is located in Muijala, Lohja, right next to the motorway. You can also work remotely a lot as you wish.
Your profile
To successfully cope with the task, you need:
- a degree suitable for the position, e.g. M.Sc. (Econ.) or M.Sc. (Industrial Engineering)/Engineer.
- solid experience and know-how, especially in internal accounting tasks, but external accounting must also be mastered
- background (eg. Business Controller role) in a production environment (process industry particularly good)
- previous managerial experience is a big advantage for you
- good skills in utilizing ERP and other information systems, especially Excel is in heavy use
- as a person, you are business-oriented and development-oriented, self-directed and responsible
- you are analytical, understand the big picture and cause and effect relationships
- fluent command of Finnish and English
